All of our Castor Oil has best before dates on the bottle as it's a manufacturing requirement, however, Castor Oil is a very stable oil and when stored at room temperature out of direct sunlight, it may stay good for years. It should have a very mild smell - if it smells rancid, then it's time to throw it away.
